Think a minute: How far had these blogs changed our lives?

I came across this cartoon of a dying man, his son and his last request quite by accident. Yes, I accept. It’s quite funny. But, there’s a lot more to it I think.
This cartoon was in my head for a while and it kept me thinking. How far had our blogs taken over our lives? I’m a blog addict and I’m so sure I’m not the only blog addict around town. And yes, if I ever got married and had a son or a daughter there’s a high chance of me making a similar request. J
There are well over a hundred million blogs on this earth. And when you look for something over the internet, it’s that blog that comes to the rescue. FeedBurner, which promotes blog feeds is the fastest growing ‘thing’ on the internet, three times the speed of MySpace.
If we told a person in 1997 that there’s going to be more than 100 million blogs by 2007, that person would never believe us. Surely, we can’t imagine an Internet without blogs can we? (Even if we could, let’s be happy that it isn’t!)

Hi,
I totally agree blogging have change my life. Other than putting in words what I am feeling, I am also communicating with tons of people around the world. Great!
On a side note, I see that you use redoable theme like me, but have customized it to look like your owm. Do you mind if I ask you how you did that? Especially the Header pic, I love it!
Nice article
Hello Blogmunch, appreciate your comment a lot. As for your sidenote, yes, I wanted it to look like my own. The header was a fix I saw at redoable support forums…
You can find it here: http://www.deanjrobinson.com/support/comments.php?DiscussionID=5&page=1#Item_11
It basically explains how to get your custom sized header picture into redoable. Thanks a lot for your comment. No worries. Let me know if there’s anything I can help you out with.
