The other day I stumbled upon this great piece of a plug-in called OneClick! Why is it so great? Well, it basically eliminate the need to go through the painful steps of using FTP to install that great new plug-in or theme you saw.. Face it! Sometimes, the hassle is not worth it at all..
But OneClick? As simple as it gets, you don’t even have to download the theme or the plug-in that you want to install. You just provide the external link, and with ‘one click’, OneClick downloads the zip file direct to the appropriate folder on the server, extracts it and you are good to go.
Can it get any better than that? Yes it can.. Simply because Anirudh Sanjeev (the guy who developed one click) has the brains to develop a Firefox extension also. So now, to install that sexy theme in your site, you don’t even have to login to the admin panel of Wordpress yourself!
