You can also checkout zoundryraven.com (Zoundry Raven), a freeware WYSIWYG blog editor. I am torn between Zoundry Raven and Windows Live Writer, since they both are great blog editors.

I’m a bit suprised that you haven’t heard of WLW before. I haven’t really given blogJet a try yet; Mainly because WLW gets the job done for me usually. But I guess blogJet does a pretty good job too. If there’s a software that I’d pay for, it’d probably be a mix between WLW, DarkRoom and ScribeFire.

I used WLW and Scribe but to be honest non of them satisfied me, one had things that other does not. So i am back to my wordpress html code editor

Thanks for the post, this is the first I’ve heard of it. I’ve been using BlogJet for a while and seems to do the job pretty well ( it does cost a few bucks) Will give WLW a try and compare the 2.

Admin panel is great but it has it’s limitations despite the improvements done in Wordpress 2.5. It’s great when you’re not working in your own computer.
