Now I know how painful site transfers can be
Well, for a stat, I could curse a lot of people, use foul language and I could let out my frustration before you guys, but we both know it’s not going to do any good right? To make a long story short, I had to change hosts. Yeap! Transfer my entire site to another host. Why? Well, let’s just say that certain ‘issues’ arose and I had to act accordingly. I could probably post the whole story of eternal frustration here, but it won’t be only my time I’m wasting.
So, I hereby would like to sincerely apologize from all my readers and advertisers for the site outage. Chances are likely that it will never happen again. I will extend the time duration of all my advertisers. I have refunded the credits of all my Entrecard advertisers. And managed to scrape through in one piece, not giving you guys a thousand and one “Hello World!” posts in your blog. Thank you for sticking with me.
A few quick changes around here I want to acknowledge.
Private Advertising
ROCKFUSE is finally offering private advertising. Many people have asked me why I waited so long to offer private advertising, but, here it it now. You can get the detailed blog statistics here and purchase a 125×125 banner for a super-low price of 5 USD per month - through a completely automated process, thanks to my new Ad Engine.
Do Follow Comments
I have some awesome commentators here on ROCKFUSE. So, as a thank-you to them, I have converted ROCKFUSE blog into a do-follow blog. Now with each comment you make, you get a bit/lot of link-love.
Change of design
Well, I change this every other day, so not necessary a new thing. A huge change in header is about to be implemented as so many people complained it’s a bit cluttered. But, do give me your comments. I’d love to hear them.
Upcoming contest - Looking for contest sponsors!
In a few days, I will be starting another 10-second entry blog contest. If you’re interested in sponsoring the contest, these are the benefits that the sponsors will gain.
- I promise to submit a review of all the contest sponsors in the contest entry post - with a link-back on the anchor text of your choice.
- Additional entry points for linking back to your blog from contest bloggers. (Which means, if 50 bloggers write about the contest, you get 50 link-backs in return for your sponsorship)
- If your sponsorship exceeds a value of US$50, contestants will gain additional entry points for SUBSCRIBING TO YOUR OWN BLOG’S FEED!
Your subscription link (e-mail and feed reader) will be displayed in the contest entry post.
So, that should be it. Sorry again for the inconvenience caused. If you’d like to sponsor the contest or need more details on advertising, please contact me through contact page.

Cheers!
My sympathies about host-swapping. I did a few months ago. Yes, it was a real stressful time! I’m glad you made it through! All the best to you!
Thank you. But it was Murphy’s law all along..
I can understand how you are feeling when you transfer a host. Though for me i am still using blogger, i can foresee the many difficulties that may arise if i swoop over to a new domain.
