Thanks to your post they have a new member. I quickly set up several of my social sites and testing out some pings and I was pleased to see how well it worked. I have several wordpress blogs (own domain) and once I update WP I'll add that pingpress.fm plugin so that I can send out a message whenever I add a new post (I'm currently using twitterfox to broadcast messages about new posts to Twitter).
