How to push through the inevitable blogging pain
I got this idea when I was going through problogger’s “When it Feels Like Nobody is Reading Your Blog” post. So I would like to give the credit for my inspiration for Darren Rowse.
Every one of us does have those times at the beginning. When it simply seems like the world isn’t moving when you see 1 subscriber (you) and 1 unique visitor (again, you!) to you blog. And even when you see to be working in full throttle it just seems like you’re nothing more than a super-ignored-slow-poke in the blog-sphere. And it pains to see you pulling off post after post but can’t seem to get a move on and you think about quitting.
And yes, this pain, is inevitable. You might be the most awesome content writer in the world, but you’ll have to live through those days to see the sunlight.
Believe it or not, this is the time that good bloggers are made and the others are slayed. It’s a test. A test of pushing through the pain. If anyone ever thought of giving up blogging in this awkward time period, believe me, there wouldn’t have been a single blog in the blog-sphere. Good bloggers are self made. And this is indeed the time that they are made.
Hold yourself together. If you live through this, you’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel. If you’re weak, you’ll fall. And for all those time you feel you’re talking to your computer monitor, know that you’ll be talking to thousands of computer monitors, other than yours as the time passes. Depending on your capabilities as a content writer, lady-luck will grace you.
And when you live through that pain and see your subscribers grow in numbers and hundreds of people visit your blog daily, you’ll live to tell the tale of those times that you were a lone-wanderer in the blog-sphere and how you came to be one of the greatest! Good Luck!!
