How to make Performancing Ads run on OiO Publisher & Blogspot blogs

Most of the ROCKFUSE readers who joined our contest with Performancing Ads complained that they couldn’t run Performancing ads on their blogspot blogs since Performancing Ads needed publishers to add PHP codes to show the ads. And some of you didn’t simply signup with Performancing Ads since you’re selling ad space on OiO Publisher and you couldn’t mess up your blog’s layout.

Guess what? Performancing ads now lets you display your ad regions using JavaScript too. This basically means that you can insert Performancing Ads wherever HTML is supported. Including blogger blog and, of course - OiO Publisher.

If you still haven’t put your blog into the Performancing Ads marketplace, well, this is your moment! Signup for Performancing Ads now!

Running Performancing Ads on OiO Publisher

Find your ad region code. Here’s a screenshot on how to find your 4-digit ad region code. (You should be in the “ad regions” section of your Performancing Ads panel.

Then, log on to your OiO Publisher admin Panel and go to the default ads section. And select a default ad space and choose “HTML” as it’s source.

Then simply, add the following code, replacing the XXXX with your Ad Regions code.

<script type="text/javascript" src=http://jserve.performancingads.com/js/perfads.js?r=XXXX>
</script>

Here’s the screenshot after the code being inserted. (Click to enlarge)

And you’re done! If you’re adding a Performancing Ad region like this, you must keep two things in mind.

  1. If the Performancing Ad space is booked, make sure you save that default ad space intact, without being booked by your OiO Publisher advertisers.
  2. Make sure every ad region created from Performancing ads is of 1×1 dimension. If you’re using OiO Publisher to list your Performancing Ads, that means you’re specifying a new 125×125 single ad unit for OiO Publisher.

Running Performancing Ads on Blogspot Blogs

Really easy. Just take the code below;

<script type="text/javascript" src=http://jserve.performancingads.com/js/perfads.js?r=XXXX>
</script>

Replace XXXX with your ad region, and paste in wherever you want (preferably, sidebar!) - and you’re done!

      Exactly - that was the rationale for me to write this post Silla. I was also wondering about the same thing until I head PerfAds supporting javascript. :)

    Rock Fuse is on top of it. Thanks man. I have been to your site before and actually come to it quite often.
    I was starting my old blog back up without using WEAK AdSense and ended up hearing about OIO Publisher.
    Did a search cuz I was curious to see if it worked with Blogger. Sure enough, it does!

    Thanks!

    Hi Nadeesha

    I’m sorry but where do I reach the default ad section in the admin panel? Weird I’m at a loss…for being so ignorant. Could you guide me?

      Sure, just goto Settings>Banners in the OiO Publisher admin panel then at the bottom of that page, you’ll see a form like the one in the screenshot.

        Weird as I only see two options at the bottom of the page

        1. Number of Default Ads?
        2. Default Ads Display Method.

        Nothing of the sort you describe, am I missing anything here?
