How to choose between FrontPage and Dreamweaver

When you were going to create a web site of even going to edit a simple web page, did this question cross your mind? Well, to me, hundreds of times. Microsoft FrontPage and Adobe Dreamweaver (formerly Macromedia’s) has got some definite advantages over each other. So this is my code of choosing between the applications.

Here’s how you can automate your blog posting, forever!

Wordpress TimestampHere’s a question – Do you timestamp your posts? Or are you just simply ignoring that – not knowing what you can achieve with it? Most bloggers do not utilize this feature when posting… are you one of them? If so, listen closely.A lot of bloggers can’t find the time to write around the clock. Or at least, post an article at 12 noon and then again wake up and post it at 12 midnight – just like I seem to do.

301 redirect!When I first heard about this 301 redirect thingy, I didn’t take it too seriously. But now, I’ve found enough and more reasons to take it into consideration. And I think you should too, before it’s too late.

What’s the big deal?

Well, you know that once you have a domain of your own, you can address it with or without the ‘www’ right? And any sane human being would know that http://www.rockfuse.com or http://rockfuse.com mean the same. But those search engine spiders do not get it.

Are you on FeedBurner? (Well, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t!) If so, if you’re not making use of the FeedFlare service, probably, you’re not reaping all that you can of your blog.

You see those links under this post? Comments count, Diggs count and all that? Well, I got all those from the FeedFlare. What it basically does is, it displays these links on the footer of every blog post that you have. Links to Digg, Technorati, Comments, E-mail, StumbleUpon and many more.
