Sunday Shoutouts! - SERP Changes, Contest Update and Weird AdSense!

Salesman2_tns It was bit of a quiet week here at ROCKFUSE. Nothing much on the move except for the big contest. I haven’t been producing much content since I’ve been trying out a new approach for ROCKFUSE, and I hope it will be evident in the weeks to come. Let me give you a hint - it’s something to do with SEO. And, for the record, if it works out well, I will share this approach with you guys. It’s nothing controversial - but it’s not an exhausted idea either.

Review: The Book on Winning the Game of Life

The_book_winning_2 Not many days ago, I was approached by Kevin Abdulrahman., through my guest post that was published on Problogger. At that time, I didn’t know whom he was nor anything about his book. Maybe because, he is still early on the process of building up an online presence. But this whole image as an author/motivational speaker/philanthropist was enough to sway me into reading the review copy he sent me of ‘The BOOK - Winning the Game of Life’.

So, why the heck am I doing a book review on this blog, that has little relevancy to it’s niche?

Well, for a stat, I could curse a lot of people, use foul language and I could let out my frustration before you guys, but we both know it’s not going to do any good right? To make a long story short, I had to change hosts. Yeap! Transfer my entire site to another host. Why? Well, let’s just say that certain ‘issues’ arose and I had to act accordingly. I could probably post the whole story of eternal frustration here, but it won’t be only my time I’m wasting.

So, I hereby would like to sincerely apologize from all my readers and advertisers for the site outage.

When you can’t find the time to keep your blog afloat…

Well, first off, I would like to apologize from all of my readers for the lack of contribution within the past few days in the terms of posting! Guys, exams are never a good thing for a procrastinator of education, is it? Nevertheless, I’m back and thinking that I should talk a bit about “Saving up for rainy days”.

s_ship_in_huge_waves_and_crazy_storm375Well, I’m sure if you’ve been blogging for some time, once in a while these days come-up that you’re unable to contribute anything valuable to your blog. Maybe because you just can’t get over procrastination or maybe because it gets so busy and time flies by.

Weekly Poll: Re-branding to ROCKFUSE!

Well, as you can see, I’ve spiced things up in here. Removed the traces of ‘MindBlogger’ and re-branded this whole blog to match it’s domain name - ROCKFUSE.com

As you may know, all of my social media accounts and outward appearance was in the name “MindBlogger” and everyone knows me by that name… So the initial choice was to move to a domain like MindBlogger.net or something since the MindBlogger.com domain was already taken. But then I would lose a lot. 500+ Yahoo Backlinks, Google PR, and I’d have to go through each and every account and change the URLs.

4 common misconceptions of the blogosphere that will RUIN your blogging

uncategorized: 4 common misconceptions of the blogosphere that will RUIN your blogging

Misconceptions in the blogosphere are very common. One half of those practices are publicized by amateurs pretending to be geniuses, and the other half is created by geniuses acting like amateurs. (If you know what I mean :D) Whatever said and done, and despite how many individuals practice it, if a certain practice yields a negative output, then it indeed, in my humble opinion, is a negative practice and a misconception.

I sincerely hope you’d find these 4 big misconceptions useful. As in, to give up it’s practicing if you find that they’re something that you’ve been doing; or to practice them if you’re looking for the 7th day blogging doom.

Submitting your own posts to Social Media sites is the best way to initialize social media exposure

uncategorized: 4 common misconceptions of the blogosphere that will RUIN your blogging This is horribly, horribly wrong. Yet, practiced by many small niche-bloggers.
