I’m not saying that because it’s been miraculous in building my blog. I’m saying that because I truly believe in it and had “stumbled upon” few of my sweetest finds on the net.

BlogCatalog offers the coolest Social News Widget

I came across this e-mail by BlogCatalog a while ago. It’s about a widget they claim to be the “most useful, innovative widget that BlogCatalog has launched so far”. Personally I’ve not been a hardcore fan of BlogCatalog, but after testing the waters, I am considering inducting the widget into my blog. After all, this new widget, “News Feed”, might be the next level of a blogger’s typical social widget.

What does it do? Well, as they claim, basically whatever you wanted a social widget on your blog to do. It can obtain your latest activities from a number of social networks.

That was an exact extract from a job posting in Microsoft. Well, what does it mean? Microsoft is definitely on it’s way to create another Flickr! With such vast resources at their disposal and millions of Winows Live users, they are bound to do it - even better than Flickr!
