I sincerely apologize for not being able to post as much as I’m supposed to. The last few days had been really hectic and so much had been going on. I really appreciate the messages I got from the few of you asking whether I’m doing alright because of the one week silence.

Things are almost back to normal and I will be starting to post on ROCKFUSE regularly from now on.

One of the main reasons that I have not been posting much is because during the past few days I’ve been engaged in writing a blog seo e-book., which I’m planning to give away as a free download to all of my subscribers - new and existing.

Google Webmaster Tools is something that every blogger concerned about his or her blog SEO, should be concerned about. Simple because, it can reveal what you exactly need not to do in order to get top 10 ranking on Google, and ultimately other search engines. Think of it as a place where Google spiders report to you directly, what exactly is wrong with your blog’s SEO.

Finding out where search engines spiders had major crawling problems

An unfriendly URL structure or certain rich media content may be giving the Search Engines spiders a bit of a hard time in indexing your blog.

Many of us bloggers are constantly looking for the next big SEO revelation. We’re looking for the killer secret that will land our blog on the top 10 in Google for our targeted keyword. As Matt Cutts said a few days back on his blog, the July 2008 Google PageRank Update had commenced. Already seeing the results at few places, including here! ROCKFUSE went from PR-N/A to PR3 today. What do I think of it? Oh well… I expected to do a little bit better after iWebTool PageRank prediction told me with a 84% accuracy that it’ll be at least PR5. But guess Google has a funny way it’s own way of doing things.

It seems like I’m not the only one to blog about the aftermath of the update this early - mind you, the update is still going on, so I don’t mean to be the one who takes the initiative to disturb the hornets’ nest - though someone surely will within this week!

Well, we know white hat, and we know black hat. To make our grounds clear, white hat, in my own form of rating means legal and ethical, black hat means legal/illegal but definitely unethical. So what does gray hat mean? Definitely legal, but can sway within the ethical grounds. For an instance, if I do gray hat SEOing(Search Engine Optimizing), I might not back down since I know it’s legal, but I my self wouldn’t know whether it’s ethical or not.
