The wonders of honest blog reviews

Untitled-1

You know, running a blog is like running a TV station. It’s new media for one thing and secondly, it’s one of the most powerful means of new media. Everyone has an opinion and unlike a TV station, for a fraction of that cost (or no cost at all), you’ll be running a blog. And like all interactive media, you’ll have a list of followers - subscribers for your blog. And like all journalists, you’re free to be opinionated and offer your opinion through your blog. And this is where blog reviews come in.

Offering your opinion through your blog can both play out for the better and the worse.

I will not comment spam you since I’ve no idea about your niche

Do you receive loads of comments with only two lines? Or just simply  words like., “Nice Article…”? For some of you it might be just another comment but for most of you, this will be yet another blog comment spam mechanism. For most of the niche bloggers, especially do-follow blog owners, this is a nightmare scenario. It’s easy to discard the gibberish spam comments left by spam bots but discarding a comment left by a human is not that easy.

Controversy! Does it work?

blogging-insights: Controversy! Does it work? Recently, an article was published on Newsweek that said about “Badges of Secrecy“. The article profiled some badges used in the US military that were totally out-of-the-box and bizarre. Some of them had images of aliens on them, some of them had mythic characters. And in the article, the author, defined the meaning of almost all the badges. Some of them, according to him, were used for operations concerning extra-terrestrial beings (aliens). It makes a blogger addicted to his/her blog statistics and make the blog traffic charts the center of attraction in his or her life.

Symptoms

  • Checking the subscription count from second to second.
  • Checking the site visitor statistics every few minutes.

blogger-motivation: Would you blog that extra mile - in your own direction? Makes you feel small, doesn’t it? Well, with so many blogs around, there might not be a niche untapped in this world. In fact, your niche might have thousands and thousands of blogs to it. That’s pretty big competition right? Well, here’s a question.. Of all the blogs that are present, why should people read your blog?

Have you ever thought of it? Acting on it now? In business, it’s all about standing out.

You are a pro-blogger when your blog says so!

“Make Money Online”! The magical catch-phrase, and the thing that almost every blogger seems to know about; or at least claim to do so. How much of a cliche had that come to be? I know people had wanted to earn money since few second after the beginning of time. But, don’t you think it’s a bit unnatural having so many people who claim to make a living online? Don’t you think there’s too many people with make money online blogs and portraying themselves as pro-bloggers?

make-money-roadsign_480_phixrQuite frankly, my point here is that anyone can start a blog.
