Offering 20 Hot Niche Header Graphics FREE for Subscribers!

Well, remember that time when everyone had an e-book on “how to make money online” on their blogs and offered it to people who subscribed to their blogs? In fact that had been the most effective way of increasing your subscribers - if not, paying them directly. I need to be honest with you. I was on the process of writing an e-book like that but suddenly, two things crossed my mind.

  1. Such an e-book in my niche had been written before, many times by many bloggers. Some are very poorly written and have no unique content.

How a simple CMS element in your Wordpress blog can increase your Page Views

How a simple CMS element in your Wordpress blog can increase your Page Views A Wordpress blog is unquestionably the ultimate free CMS (content management system), that one could get his/her hands on. But however, Wordpress is made to be used by systems that gets updated more frequently than others. So,  the ultimate downfall, as I see in Wordpress is that it’s relatively harder to highlight the content that had been published in the past.

If there are posts that people could gain something from, despite of the date which they had been published on, people will read them. News themes like Revolution really had understood this and they display categories as the main navigation in the blog header.

How to get free images for your blog posts legally in a few seconds

Creative Commons Sometimes when I feel like I’ve got a few minutes to kill, I tend to go ahead and add a custom designed image to my blog post that I was currently working on. It’s not a necessity and I could’ve just inserted a few random pictures off the Google Image Search. But, in fact, having your own custom made graphics give that post a sense of professionalism and sometimes, you could really get into trouble when you steal off other people’s pictures from Google Image Search.

The first and the most important thing to keep in mind is that just because it comes up in a Google Image Search, you just can not go ahead and freely use it in wherever you want.

Add sidebar tabs to your WordPress blog in 2 minutes!

blog-design: Add sidebar tabs to your WordPress blog in 2 minutes! If you were following through my latest makeover of ROCKFUSE, you would have found out that I’ve added a Sidebar Widget with Tabs to display my latest, popular and randomly selected posts. Sidebar Tabs have many advantages to it.

Why Sidebar Tabs?

First, they save a lot of real estate - Oh yes they do! Just imagine; If I had to display all those posts I’ve in those side bar tabs it would have taken the whole left sidebar, right to the very bottom. But instead with sidebars, I’m able to save 75% of the space needed to hold the posts.

Do you want to show off more from less?

What is a Favicon, Why you need it, and How to add one to your blog…

Untitled-1 Well, long story short - Favicon means Favorite Icon. It supports and enhances the branding of a web site by actually displaying a customized icon in the browser’s URL box, and next to the site’s bookmark in a browser’s bookmark list. For an example, if you’re in the tabbed mode of your browser, you can see the logo of ROCKFUSE appearing in a 16×16 pixel size. The same with your browser’s URL, if you’re using a supporting browser. The Favicon is indeed an ico file that is 16×16 pixels.

Do I really need it?

blog-design: What is a Favicon, Why you need it, and How to add one to your blog... Well, if you think that a 16×16 image can’t change how your blog performs, I’d say you’re right.

Dear blogger,
