How to choose between FrontPage and Dreamweaver

When you were going to create a web site of even going to edit a simple web page, did this question cross your mind? Well, to me, hundreds of times. Microsoft FrontPage and Adobe Dreamweaver (formerly Macromedia’s) has got some definite advantages over each other. So this is my code of choosing between the applications.

1. The experience level.

First and foremost, you have to figure out the expertise you have on the field. If you’re relatively less-experienced, FrontPage is the tool for you. It’s ultra simple and you don’t have to write even one line of code to get the most complicated thing done.

Quick tip: How to increase your flash movie quality.

I write about this golden rule because I’ve seen many flash beginners not using this technique and waste their creativity by making the movie look a bit crappier. So if you don’t already do this with your flash content, just give it a try.

PLAY WITH YOUR FPS!

FPS? Frames per second. You can change it in the ‘frame rate’ box, in the properties dialog. The default is 12 when you open a new flash movie. And most beginners don’t care to change it. The problem with the default 12 fps is that there’s more of a delay between two frames.
