Bid and Get Paid to Review stuff- BuyBlogReviews

I was directed to BuyBlogReviews from one of my friends and honestly, can’t say that I liked it enough to go down and dirty with it., but it’s unique feature of bidding for blog reviews gave me an impression that it’s somewhat of a unique blog reviews marketplace. With that being said, I feel advertisers benefit from this marketplace more than the bloggers.

Talking about the getting started process of BuyBlogReviews, you will have to go thorough a manual approval system like all of the other Get Paid to Review systems. Although they said it can take up to 72 hours for the blog to get approved, I recall ROCKFUSE being accepted within a few hours. So, thumbs up for that.

The wonder of this marketplace, as I mentioned earlier, is the ability to bid for reviews. Advertisers can create opportunities, explaining the nature of the review, anchor text, and with the maximum amount the advertiser is willing to pay for a single review.

Then it’s up to the blogger. You can go thorough the available review opportunities and choose to review stuff, and place your bid there. For an example, if the maximum bid says $50, you can bid for an amount within $1 - $50 for the review. A higher bid will make you more money if your bid was approved, but will slim down your chances of getting approved if too many bloggers are going to review the service at a lower bid. And it works the other way around as well. So, make sure that you find your balance.

This way, a blogger can choose the opportunities matching his/her blog while placing a bid to his/her liking. At the same time, advertisers can check out multiple competitive bids placed by the bloggers interested in reviewing their system, and approve the ones they feel that would give them the best value for money.

One thing that I didn’t like about the system was that a good number of available opportunities are from gambling sites. And most of the reviews are within $1-$5 price range, although there are a couple of opportunities paying around $50. They also have the balloon button like PayPerPost telling the viewers that it’s a sponsored review. Guess it can be opted-out of you want.

As the conclusion, I feel BuyBlogReviews is a system worth trying out, but only if you want to review stuff for dirt cheap. But I highly recommend it if you want to buy reviews from other bloggers, to promote your own projects. You can check it out here.
