Posted by: User ImageNadeesha Cabral In: Shouts

116220689_438039ddb3 I wouldn’t call it ROCKFUSE 2.0 because the new face of ROCKFUSE is not a development in the same direction as ROCKFUSE 1.0! You might have already seen the new header and the couple of minor tweaks I’ve done to the blog. And I agree – it’s not as flashy as the one before, because I’ve been trying to tone down the design of the site. So what’s up with this new direction?

Posted by: User ImageNadeesha Cabral In: Making Money Online

Well, same here. For some reason, it seems that all the private advertisers have gone to Neverland. Maybe it’s the weakening economy or maybe it’s something else. But surprisingly enough, with the usage of more and more affiliate networks on my blogs, less private advertisers mean more money for me overall. How? Affiliate money! And that just might be the reason.

You see, ever since blog networks came out, big spenders had always been going for blog networks. It is much easier to handle a lot of blogs under one co-ordination other than co-coordinating the whole thing with a lot of independent bloggers.

Well, these are those sites that would pay you if you complete some of their free offers and refer a few friends on the way. Rings a bell now? 260978898_2b3214c2b4 Recently I’ve been engaged in starting up many small niche blogs in very varying niches. And there had come been many things I wished I hadn’t done when starting up some of them. But it’s all part of the game and it’s a learning process. We all make mistakes and we should learn from them. So as an outcome of my own learning process, I’ll present this code to you – my code of the things that shouldn’t be done when starting up a blog.

I only hope that you find it useful.

Waiting till you complete the blog setup to register a domain.

This is an absolute no-no.

Google Sandbox - Myth or Fact?

Posted by: User ImageNadeesha Cabral In: SEO

This was a hot question in the SEO field about a year ago. Not anymore. Because, the evidence that there’s indeed something that matches the characteristics of a “Google Sandbox” is overwhelming.  And according to my experiences also, I’ve got no reason to say it’s not true.

But it’s amazing how many people fall into this trap day after day - not quite knowing what the consequences are. And as someone who had experienced them first hand, let me tell you that they are not so easy to go through with.
