Announcing Free E-Book: Blog SEO for Beginners

Posted by: User ImageNadeesha Cabral In: SEO

I sincerely apologize for not being able to post as much as I’m supposed to. The last few days had been really hectic and so much had been going on. I really appreciate the messages I got from the few of you asking whether I’m doing alright because of the one week silence.

Things are almost back to normal and I will be starting to post on ROCKFUSE regularly from now on.

One of the main reasons that I have not been posting much is because during the past few days I’ve been engaged in writing a blog seo e-book., which I’m planning to give away as a free download to all of my subscribers - new and existing.

Does updating your blog more give you more visitors?

Posted by: User ImageNadeesha Cabral In: Blogging Insights

I always wondered about this. And as any of you would think, I went for the seemingly obvious answer. That was of course before I tried investigating it myself. So did I change my perception about the whole thing? Did I end up with the conclusion that I was wrong? Well., to sum up my stand on this I would put it up this way.

Posting more definitely gives you more visitors, but it’s up to you to find out whether it’s worth the effort.

Before justifying my stand on this, let me tell you why posting more gives you more visitors.,

By posting more you’re creating content and the more content you have, more search engine traffic you will get.

Contest Update: Officially closed down!

Posted by: User ImageNadeesha Cabral In: Shouts

I thought I’d do a quick post to let all of you know that the Referral Contest had officially closed down. I have stopped accepting new entries to the competition.

And, as you all can see, there had been a substantial amount of entries - as the contest was a really successful campaign. And tabulating the end results is no easy task. For this purpose, the contest results will be announced in 5-7 days from now, or maybe sooner. So, hold on. Santa is on the way:)

A big thank you goes out to all of you who participated and all the great sponsors!

Many bloggers have commended me for my blog design. Being a web designer myself, I have the privilege of quickly doing adjustments to my blog design, spicing it up from time to time. And this had proved to be extremely useful. And one of the major abilities a blog design can have is to convince it’s spectators to convert. Well, in this case, subscribe to my blog.

So, how exactly can you optimize you blog design to get more visitors? (Image Credit: Draggin)

Making the Blog Header as convincing as possible

I  believe that the blog header in any blog plays the biggest role in giving out a first impression.

Technorati Tag Generator

Posted by: User ImageNadeesha Cabral In: Blogging Tools

This weekend, I took some time to develop a tool which I think most of you will find very useful on a day-today basis. Yeap! It’s the Technorati Tag Generator. Just specify the Tags you want you blog post to be tagged with and the Technorati Tag Generator will output a HTML code which you can copy/paste at the end of your blog posts.

This will make Technorati index your page under specific topics. And you’ll be entitled to a piece of Technorati’s huge search traffic, depending on the ‘hotness’ of you post.

Sunday Shoutouts #2: Not too loud.

Posted by: User ImageNadeesha Cabral In: Shouts

Much like the last week, it was another fairly moderate week here at ROCKFUSE. I had the two posts I put a tremendous effort into writing, virtually explode at Social Media sites, which is a good thing.

I’ve been working on a few projects lately. A couple of blogs and a social media site, which would come up within this month - and working on what I’d like to call the - “Do not post and still get Traffic” challenge. Which, basically put, is a challenge I put on myself to get more traffic by posting less posts on a blog. It’s going well, beyond my expectations.
