It's the biggest factor which will determine you blog's success or failure! What? Simply said, it’s experimentation. Everyone knows the methodology of experimentation right? So why do most of us fail in the process of building a successful blog?

Do you experiment with your blog? Of course! Everyone does. But in this vast blogosphere, our success depends on how soon, how efficiently we evolve. Just think about it. If you tried mass blog commenting for one week, and you spent around 1-2 hours just to do it, and if your return was 10 hits per day and declining thereafter, what’s the point of keep doing it?

Keep both of your Twitter and Plurk accounts functional with Ping.fm When Plurk came out, I found it as a fun, innovative way of keeping in touch with friends - so, I just had to try it out. But it was impossible really hard to make sure the functioning of my Twitter account as well as the Plurk.

Why?

But first, why would a blogger like me a trying to make money should be concerned about keeping both of these functional? Because it’s killer traffic! You post something and announce it onto your followers on Twitter or Plurk! The interested ones will check it out - which will significantly bring you a lot of exposure provided that you have a targeted set of followers, great in numbers too…

July 2008 PageRank Update - An early analysis

140446727_3bd4ebf468_m As Matt Cutts said a few days back on his blog, the July 2008 Google PageRank Update had commenced. Already seeing the results at few places, including here! ROCKFUSE went from PR-N/A to PR3 today. What do I think of it? Oh well… I expected to do a little bit better after iWebTool PageRank prediction told me with a 84% accuracy that it’ll be at least PR5. But guess Google has a funny way it’s own way of doing things.

It seems like I’m not the only one to blog about the aftermath of the update this early - mind you, the update is still going on, so I don’t mean to be the one who takes the initiative to disturb the hornets’ nest - though someone surely will within this week!

Well, remember that time when everyone had an e-book on “how to make money online” on their blogs and offered it to people who subscribed to their blogs? In fact that had been the most effective way of increasing your subscribers - if not, paying them directly. I need to be honest with you. I was on the process of writing an e-book like that but suddenly, two things crossed my mind.

  1. Such an e-book in my niche had been written before, many times by many bloggers. Some are very poorly written and have no unique content.

SezWho - Does it work?

I never really took any notice of SezWho until it’s partnership with Entrecard. When they announced the partnership, I decided to give it a go nevertheless. I know, I know, there’s a question about the quality of traffic that Entrecard sends, and many bloggers have left Entrecard because of that. But, maybe, this is an instance where the quality of traffic can actually be increased by one bit at least.

But, this post is not to discuss the over-blogged “Entrecard+SezWho” - but rather, solely about “SezWho”.

The easiest appearances to prove the existence of SezWho in a blog is the “Rate This” section underneath posts/comments or both with 5 stars.
