Before everything else, I should say, yes! I heard you. I know, why the heck should my RSS readers read an article about what RSS is since that all the bloggers know about RSS. Well, number one, you will be so surprised at the number of bloggers who have absolutely no idea of what RSS is. Number two, even if you know a whole lot about RSS, this 5-part guide will be hitting to the depths of RSS and promoting some cool tools that might just make your life a little bit easier.

I’ve heard quite a few people say that they switch off the internet when they are blogging. And some say that hit a place like a café to brainstorm for ideas and blog. It seems kind of obvious to say that distractions will cost you a lot of things in any line of work. And in blogging, it’s super-important.

Why? Well, for starters,

• It will cost you time
  
• It will cost you that great idea for a post that you had in mind
  
• It will cost you that great point you wanted in your post
  
• With less concentration, it will ultimately wear you out while blogging
  

You’ll understand what I mean especially if you had one or more of those experiences.

Some people always say that it’s a waste of time reading blogs that help you blog. And recently, while reading one of my favorite Blogs online, ProBlogger, I came across this comment by a person called Simmons. In her own words, “My #1 tip: Stop reading blogs that help you blog. I used to read around 10 a day, but I’ve cut it down to one (ProBlogger). I’ve saved a LOT of time.” And it is that comment that inspired me to write this post.

When I was trying to learn how to play my guitar, one of my friends told me an interesting fact about tuning the guitar. I should always tune it bottom-up. Not top-down. Why? Because if you try to tune it top down, the tension that gets your guitar-string to play a top note will break your guitar-string.

If you don’t get the story above because you are not familiar with guitars, it doesn’t really matter. What this really taught me is it’s the bottom-up approach that you should always use in working your blog-posting-frequency.
