It can significantly improve the whole process of your blog’s/web’s integration with the search engine that is responsible for most of the search engine traffic in the world – Google! It’s feature include;

  • Extensive use of sitemaps

    Now you can directly upload your XML sitemap on Google. Once uploaded, Google checks the sitemap out and indexes the links. This is a great way for making sure that all of your pages on that 1000 page blog get indexed by Google.

    I use a Wordpress plug-in called ‘Google-sitemap-generator‘ for this.

Two things that inspired me to blog

When I was doing my final year high school exams, I came across these two resources quite by accident. And these two resources by two top bloggers – Steve Pavlina and John Chow – convinced me to be a blogger and today here I am.

And whoever who’s starting to blog or currently is a blogger really shouldn’t miss these two things; since both has hell a lot great tips, tricks and blogging insights. Even if you’re the most experienced blogger, I believe you can learn a thing or two with them.

The most difficult process of blogging – good blogging – is coming up with good ideas for new blog posts. Once you have a good idea, the next hardest thing is brainstorming for good content engineering. And this whole brainstorming thing - we will take a closer look on it today – and we’ll also pay some mind to psychology-at-work.

Although I accept the fact that anyone really interested in subscribing to your feed will take the trouble in finding that ‘hidden’ button, I think having that option at the readers face will give you that edge in influencing them to subscribe.

Filing a blog post under multiple categories – a do or a don’t?

Again; a million dollar question! Many believe that a blog post should be filed under one category and a lesser number believes that it causes no harm to file it under multiple categories.
